    Check the NAT type and ensure that it is Open state.

    Also check the privacy settings on both of your profiles on Xbox.com which are allowed to play and join multiplayer games.

    That doesn’t make sense to me because when this all started to happen I had Xbox live gold, now I have just gamepass and it’s still happening. Do I need to buy Xbox Live Gold to play or should the gamepass subscription let me play multiplayer? One more thing when I accept an invite from a friend it sends me to the “Choose your plan” screen and doesn’t show Xbox Live Gold it only shows Xbox Ultimate, why is that?
