    GamePass Games won't uninstall


    Having problems uninstalling 3 GamePass Games on my PC so I can free up space. Fallout4, Just Cause 4 & OuterWorlds.

    Within GamePass, all would begin to uninstall and then just stop, When attempting to uninstall via Settings, would get a Windows error #0x80080204.

    With Fallout4, I decided to go into the WindowsApps, change permissions and just delete the folders (wasn't easy). Once I identified All the files, some space was freed up but the game still appears in GamePass and in settings with no obvious way to remove it.

    Being unable to uninstall these games has created a real mess.

    Please try to reset Xbox App:

    Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Xbox App > Advanced Options > Repair and Reset. Restart PC.

    See if resetting it makes you able to uninstall the games and let me know, please.

    To uninstall Gamepass games from your PC after canceling your Gamepass subscription, you can follow these steps:

    Press the Windows key + I to open the "Settings" app.

    Go to "Apps" and click on "Apps & features".

    Scroll down to find the Gamepass game you want to uninstall and click on it.

    Click on the "Uninstall" button and follow the prompts to uninstall the game.

    Repeat the process for any other Gamepass games you want to uninstall.

    If you are unable to uninstall the games through the "Apps & features" section in the "Settings" app, you can try uninstalling them through the "Control Panel". To do this, follow these steps:

    Press the Windows key + R to open the "Run" dialog.

    Type "control" and press Enter to open the "Control Panel".

    Go to "Programs" and click on "Uninstall a program".

    Scroll down to find the Gamepass game you want to uninstall and click on it.

    Click on the "Uninstall" button and follow the prompts to uninstall the game.

    Repeat the process for any other Gamepass games you want to uninstall.
