    hi there,

    Since a couple of months ago, everytime i turn on my laptop (asus rog) and try to launch a game from the gamepass, it will not work, i have to restart the laptop everytime after turnning it on in order to be able to play games. do you guys have any idea of what is wrong? i find it strange that out of nowhere i suddenly have to restart my laptop everytime i turn it on in order to play games on gamepass

    Do you get any error messages when trying to open games or what exactly happens?

    These steps can help you, give it a try.

    Check for updates on Windows Update, update everything including optional/additional updates, and also follow the steps below.

    1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app

    2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app in the Windows menu, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset. Do this for the game too.

    3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.

    4. Open the Microsoft Store, click on ''library'' in the lower-left corner then ''get updates'' and update everything.

    5. Restart your PC, log into the apps again and try again.

    Whenever i have the game running or after I turn it off it is crackling. When i restart my computer all other applications are fine. Its just the gamepass games. I havent had this problem until i bought the gamepass.

    Windows 11:

    Go to Start > Settings > System > Recovery. Next to Reset this PC , select Reset PC. Then, select Keep my files.

    Yes, all up to date. And weirdly enough.. i've installed the PC Gamepass App on my Windows Laptop... AND the controller does not work on their either. Strange! This controller works fine if i use the XBox Gamepass app via android devices.
