Gamepass for PC Install Button Not Functioning

I've checked a few other threads discussing the same issue but they always end in the same way; no one knows how to fix it, and a friendly mod closes the thread telling you to ask a question if you're still stuck.

I bought 1 month of Game Pass for PC Beta on 03/07/2019. Then a week later I upgraded to Game Pass Ultimate on 13/07/2019. The Gold and Game Pass work just fine on Xbox.

When I open the Microsoft Store on my PC and find any of the games that are on Game Pass for PC, the store tells me I can install with my Game Pass membership but the button is either greyed out and completely unclickable or when I click install my laptop
isn't listed as one of my devices. Here's a few things I've already checked:

1) Yes, I am signed into the same Microsoft account on both Xbox and PC.

2) Yes, my Game Pass Ultimate membership is still active (checked through the memberships options in my account settings)

3) Yes, my laptop IS listed as a device connected to my Microsoft account when I open my browser and look at my devices (as well as my 2 Xbox Ones).

And a few things I've already tried to fix the issue:

1) Signing in and out of the Microsoft Store

2) Removing and re-adding my laptop as a connected device

3) Doing a 'fresh install' (deleting all preferences and resetting to default) of Microsoft Store

4) Running the Microsoft Store repair tool

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

i have simlar issue were I go to install a game inculded with the pc game pass but it takes me to the trial 1£ a month and it doesn't reconginze my 3 month pass which I just started 2 days ago. The mircosoft store works though, so you could download games
from there.

And now I feel like an idiot for not noticing this existed, [Mod Removed- Inappropriate]. I'll install it and see if it works; thank you!

Have you downloaded the new Xbox app (not the companion app)? You should be able to download them through their instead of through the Microsoft Store app. If you haven't installed it, you should be able to get it from here by clicking "Get Started" - https://www.xbox.com/xbox-game-pass/pc-games
