    GamePass error "Windows Update not ON"


    Hi

    Been trying to fix the 0x803fb107 error with gamepass for better part of 2 weeks now. No game will download and always get this error.

    I have :

    - Windows update is ON

    - Turned Windows update off and on again

    - Latest build of Windows installed

    - Run powershell command

    - Reset Gaming services

    - Re-installed gaming services

    - Reset Microsoft store

    - Repaired store and gaming services

    - Re-installed gaming pass app

    - Downloaded latest build of windows again and installed

    ... What else is left ? .... Any help please.

    Can't install Sea of Thieves. 0x80073cf0

    Hello, I have the same issue, it doesn`t happen with other GamePass games, only with Sea of Thieves update, tried reinstalling, and the issue is still here.

    The error occurs when trying to update/download the game. 0x80073cf0

    Running Windows 11, the game was working perfectly fine prior to the update of 06/23/2022, once the update dropped, the game just gives the error instead of updating.

    32GB RAM

    RTX2080s

    GamePass games being installed on C: with more than 200GB of space left

    Also SSD

    Already tried all the following troubleshooting guides:

    Reseting Windows Store

    Clearing Cache

    Again the error only occurs with Sea of Thieves, no other GamePass games is being affected as far as I know.

    There is an update on Windows for Gamepass on PC, maybe that it's the problem.

    Try to update your windows:

    Go to Windows->Settings->Update and Securities

    sorry to hear. The PC Gamepass needs an fully updated Windows 10 System and the error code 0x80070005 indicates that this is not complete. Try this first:

    1. Opens Control Panel.
    2. Under the System and Security category, click the blue lettering to detect and fix problems.
    3. Then click the fix problems with Windows Update again under the System and Security category.
    4. Follow the wizard's instructions, then restart Windows and verify that the error continues to appear.
