    Gamepass Chromebook Crashing as stream launches [Lenovo Duet]


    Have been asking around about this on Reddit, and found out I am not the only one having problems with Xcloud crashing just as the game stream goes to launch.

    This started on the December 7 update, before that my Lenovo Duet waa playing Xcloud just fine. After the update on December 7, said crashing first started. It still continues as of today with the December 16 update.

    Just wondering if there are any plans to fix this, or anyway I can find out that Microsoft is aware of this problem?

    I’m not streaming on my Xbox. I’m using the gamepass app on my chromebook. I also tried playing on my iPad but it still got the same error code 0x80830003

    Game Pass on Chrome Book has not worked since mid December - when will the patch arrive?

    Try making sure the chrome book is up to date and reinstall the game pass app. This might help. Also make sure you are using the Chromebook close enough to the router on a 5ghz network or ideally use a ethernet cable.

    Gamepass can also work on an android tablet or phone if you are still having problems with the Chromebook.

    are you streaming to mixer or twitch from your xbox?

    if you are then I'd suggest using the app to stream directly from your console and then log into your stream on your chromebook using a web browser so you can monitor the chat that way
