Gamepass admin approval issue

hihi, I had the same issue before dw hit install on the game pass, but before running the first time right click on the icon and create a desktop shortcut. right-click that to run as admin and should at least bring up the launcher, which worked for me at that point with no issues.

Select the Start button and then go to Settings > Update and Security > Windows Update.

- If there are no updates to be made, I suggest you try the solutions below, please.

Solution 1:

Type WSRESET in the Windows search bar

Run as administrator

Wait for the window to open to close automatically

Restart your PC

Solution 2:

Go to Windows settings

Applications

Applications and Features

Search for Gaming Services

Click on it

Advanced options

Tap repair.

Solution 3:

Try installing the games from the Microsoft Store and see if the same problem occurs.

How are games put on gamepass? An approval thing?

Nope. Still can't download anything marked with admin approval required.

I used the Command Prompt and did what you asked, sadly it didn't work. To answer your question, this is system only has a 1TB SSD, all of my games download in there. The only issue is the Xbox app.

I managed to download a game called "Mighty Goose" which does not require admin approval. It had no issues doing so, though this was working fine before. It's only with games that need admin approval, so the app is capable of downloading games.
