    Gamepass 0x00000001 and can't install KB5004476


    I recently got Xbox Game Pass for PC, unfortunately I'm not able to install games for it, any time I attempt to install something it gives me the 0x00000001 error, every source I find online tells me to install the KB5004476 update but it's not available, I go to windows update and look for it in the optional updates as all the guides say but it's not there, all I see is it telling me "there are no optional updates at this time", when checking for the update there's no sign of KB5004476 to be found.

    I tried to manual install it from the Microsoft Update Catalog, but upon running the "windows10.0-kb5004476-x64_d921e030a0749cb41551bbfa9b53c35edbb1e763" windows standalone installer it says "This update is not applicable to your computer" despite that being the "2021-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H1 for x64-based Systems (KB5004476)" option in the catalog.

    I've tried all the other troubleshooting suggestions out there like resetting and repairing the Xbox App, the Microsoft Store, Gaming Services and App Installation all separately along with numerous reboots and I still am unable to install anything from Gamepass... I also tried installing games from the Microsoft Store directly and nothing happened other than sometimes asking what drive to install the game to before not starting the download, other times nothing happened at all clicking the install button.

    Is there any way to get Gamepass working and actually install and run games?

    Are there more solutions? That didn't do anything but take up a lot of time backing up files and reinstalling programs while the problem still persists

    Since the problem still persists. I recommend doing a clean install of Windows and formatting your hard drives to solve the problem for good.

    When attempting to use this tool nothing really happened, I ran the in place upgrade tool and it just said "Thank you for updating to the latest version of Windows 10" without doing anything. The problem with installing GamePass games persists and I am still unable to install KB5004476

    EDIT: I realized I accidentally used the "Update Now" instead of "Download Tool Now", I used the latter and did that install, no change, still can't install GamePass games, KB5004476 is not in the update menu, the standalone installer still won't work.
