    Gamebar keeps opening along with Edge even tho both are disabled.


    Ever since the last update windows found a way to re-enable gamebar every time I open the xbox app or battlenet app since they both open together. And along with gamebar some "gameassist" app opens along with the edge browser but in the background. Neither one show anywhere that it opens this. And no way to stop it. Gamebar is disabled and been disabled along with edge via script and registry and neither have popped up until the last update. So again microsoft pushing sh*t nobody wants or needs. And it always, ALWAYS ALWAYS causes lag in games. How can remove this **** from my pc and have it never come back. Quit spying on me and quit installing and enabling apps that the user has disabled and quit forcing your programs and apps on the users. The second a better OS comes along that doesnt spy and has all the freedoms microsoft took away, windows will be dead until microsoft find a way to destroy the competition.

    open windows store, search for gamebar and install, also blame your school for not giving a browser that auto disables screen recording.

    found it is a popular issue on other forums, it is apparently gamebar causing it all the time and when gamebar is disabled it stops it completely, nothing psyonix can do about it, they say it is up to microsoft to fix gamebar. i have just disabled it as its useless anyway.

    Open Gamebar open Gamebar Widget Menu and add "Looking for group". Done.

    Open Console Companion and do like always. Done

    Don't open Xbox App because Xbox App is not Gamebar nor Companion.

    as that is a new device your on the old version of gamebar, open windows store and check for updates, there will be a gamebar update that will then look like your others once done.
