    GameBar.exe - system error


    The system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer In this application. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of the application

    please explain.

    Should I be concerned?

    I was just playing a game until this showed up.

    I have gotten a whole host of new errors and I think I just need to factory reset my PC at this point. Thanks for trying to help

    Turning off you game bar by clicking Settings>Gaming. This should resolve the issue.

    Please consider the following

    Settings --> Apps --> Apps and Features --> Click on Xbox Game Bar/ Advanced Options --> ( Scroll down ) Reset --> Repair

    Then try the PowerShell Approach :

    Open up Power Shell --> and enter : Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxApp | Remove-AppxPackage
