    Hi all

    I've been using win+alt+R to record clips from stuff for years now.

    Sometime in the last year, it stopped recording the audio when using Chrome, but recording the same thing in Firefox recorded audio fine.

    Now as of a week or 2 ago, the recordings suddenly garble the audio after about 30s but are fine after 45s or so. It's happening on every video, both browser and dxgame, and always in that timeframe only.

    I've no idea what's caused it but now I basically can't use the Win10DVR anymore.

    I'd use AMD ReLive (works fine even recording Chrome) but they have a stupid "now recording" popup at the start of every video that is recorded on the video itself GameBar DVR no audio or audio garble 30s-45s in o_O

    have you tried setting audio using console companion? i had the issue with gamebar then i set my audio on console companion then its like game bar magically started showing audio. also check your audio sources to make sure they can connect.

    sometimes i don't know why it does but it will auto switch your audio devices. so disable what you don't use so it can't switch to another device that doesn't playback. also with gamebar if you have push-to-talk on and you try to do anything outside of
    gamebar the audio won't pickup. so try and work with console companion and if the audio change doesn't fix then im at a loss for the moment.

    it never works, same with audio via wired controller, you have to use the gamebar volume mixer to sort your audio, the balance and game chat mixer on the headset is for console use.
