    Hi,

    I am on Windows 11 Pro 22000.556

    I wanted to use gamebar to clip some stuff or record.

    Both those options are greyed out and when clicking the capture settings button in settings app the whole app crashes. I also tried using registry and gpedit to no use. When I check in gamebar's settings it shows that "Record in background while I'm playing a game" is disabled but when i go to enable it it crashes and i have to close it. Please help.

    Then it could be that your hardware doesn't support those features or you need to restore your OS

    I've just done the restore to the time from before I noticed the issue. It seems to have done nothing to my issue as it couldve been there all along and I never would've realised as I never used gamebar

    Already tried doing this and "repair" option as well. Doesnt seem to do anything to the issue mentioned

    Complete given below directions to repair and reset the app in Windows

    Step 1: Open the Settings app. This can be done by clicking its icon in the Start menu or simultaneously pressing Windows logo + I.

    Step 2: Click the Apps category icon and then click Apps & features to see all installed apps as well as classic desktop programs.

    Step 3: Click on the app that you want to reset to see the Advanced options link. Click on the same (advanced options link).

    Step 4: Finally, click the small Reset button. When you click the Reset button, you will find a small dialog box with “This will permanently delete the app’s data on this device, including your preferences and sign-in details.” Click the Reset button in the opened dialog box to reset the app.

    Step 5: Once the Reset is done, you will see a check sign next to the Reset button. And restart the Pc
