    Game updates/downloads keep stopping.


    Whenever I download or updated a game, the download starts and is all good for a moment, and then it will randomly stop. It still says 'downloading' or 'updating' as if it's trying to do something but there isn't any progress. My xbox says I am connected
    to the internet fine. And no other devices are having an issue.

    Whenever I try and pause an update or download when it's stuck and not progressing it takes about 5 minutes for it to actually pause. I'm thinking it could be something to do with the xbox as it's an original day one console but I am honestly not sure. I
    have tried all troubleshooting apart from a full factory reset.

    Any ideas?

    Downloads on 360 keep stopping

    I don't know what's going on, but it's pissing me off. I've been trying to download a couple games I bought on 360 for days now and the downloads keep stopping and saying "can't download..." I'm NOT being disconnected from XBL. The downloads just timeout.
    It makes no sense. I'll get maybe 10% then it'll quit and I have to resume. I'm not running anything else either, so nothing on my end is stopping it. It's still *** you can't even run an offline demo while downloading. When Walking Dead went free a couple
    weeks ago, that downloaded no problem, in spite of having to go through "purchasing" 6 different items because nobody bothered to do a complete season/edition download for 360.

    What's 0x80070203 error code mean?

    Installed Farming simulator 17 on Xbox one. But says update is required to play, so I keep trying to download the update but it keeps stopping it at about 4%! Gave me 0x80070203 error code but is not in this database. Any help is appreciated

    Nope its just stopping downloads i can go on line and play games purchase games but just keep getting installation stopped 4 days now i have Even updated Xbox

    Yeah I just did a reset just then with the keep games option just so I could stop the update. As I couldn't stop it or pause it for some reason. This only allows me to play the games/ apps I have updated. The moment I try to download an update on any game I get the same issue.

    Having the same issue too. notice that sometimes when some update stop installing, it picks random games and start downloading without my knowledge. if that problem keep going Im going to switch to manual update instead of auto updates.

    Same for me mine is stuck on 1% gos to queue then updating then stops. It won't download and keeps repeting. Here's my thought on it. I think it has to do with the digital peroder of the taken king exspan. That already downloaded in it. Thats what I think
    is stopping us to get the update.

    Same here I bought the game, came home it installed fine then went to do the patch update and just keep getting "installation stopped!" Have tried the hard resets and still nothing. Uninstalled the game and then reinstalled still won't download that update!
