Game Transcription not working on xbox series x

I have a new xbox series x. I am legally blind. The game transcription options on the console all come back with "there is a temporary problem with the service" whenever I change an option, and it does not read the screen in Forza motorsports 7. Everything works fine on the same network with my son's xbox/1. I was told there might be a possible fix with the last patch, but no change with the patch that installed May 26.

Yes I have. And when I perform step #5 "Let games read to me", I get "there is a temporary problem with the service" "Please try again later". And no transcription.

So my question is, when *you* perform these steps, do you get the same result (I.e., there is a problem with the service or console software) or does it work for you (I.e., there is a problem with my configuration).

Please try it and let me know what you find as I would like to get a defect # to track (assuming service or software issue) or compare configurations (assuming its my config).

If the game just says Xbox Series X on the Game cover, then no, it will not work on the Xbox One. If, it says Xbox Series X & Xbox One on the cover, then it will work.

Games with series s/x Logo are not working on xbox one s/x ..

But xbox one games works on series x .

All Xbox One games (with the exception of Kinect titles) will work on Xbox Series X/S.

So yes, GTA V will work on Series X.
