For the Free to play reward for playing 5 hours on 3 different F2P games, how do I track my time? Also, does game time spent on Play anywhere games played on my Laptop count? ie. Gwent and Fallout Shelter.

Time played isn't recorded correctly?

Are you playing while connected to Xbox Live or in an offline state?

Thanks for the clarification, it's difficult to say why it didn't track then. It does sound like it is tracking though, since you did see a jump in a game for a minute of play. I would say that if it happens on a consistent basis to try removing your profile
from the Xbox One console and then try to re-download it to the console to see if it helps out. That will re-sync the information from the servers to your console so that they're both on the same page.

Recorded clips decay over time.

Whenever I leave my recorded clips in my Game DVR app for more than a few days, they begin to decay. Normally the name of the game they were recorded from is displayed on them, but over time the name changes to just "Video". I also lose the ability to save,
share, and very rarely unable to use them in Upload Studio. Uploading them to YouTube usually results in only partial of the video being uploaded. Say I want to upload a 60 second video, only 12 seconds of it will be uploaded. So that basically leaves me no
way to get these clips on my computer. I can still watch the clips in the Game DVR app, so they can't be corrupted. How do I fix or avoid this problem?

want to see about and select it, press down until "Compare with friends" is highlighted, press left and then down.

Also, does game time spent on Play anywhere games played on my Laptop count?

I asked this on twitter to xbox rewards about Fallout shelter and they said no.

Hi,

There are different solutions that you can perform to help resolve sync issues with the Game DVR in the Xbox app on Windows 10. Refer to the following:

Solution 1: Run the troubleshooter for Windows apps

Refer to this
link and follow the prompts on your screen.

Solution 2: Check for apps and games from Windows Store

Visit this
page and perform the steps provided.

Solution 3: Restart Game DVR task

Close the game and then go to the search box on the Windows taskbar and search for “Task Manager”.
In Task Manager, select “More details” and then browse the list of running processes. Select the Broadcast DVR server (bcastdvr.exe) process (if it’s still there) and then select End task.
Restart the game and try recording again.

Solution 4: Uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app

Type Windows Powershell in the search box.
Right click Windows Powershell and select Run as administrator.
Copy and paste the following command:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.XboxApp | remove-appxpackage
Press Enter.

Restart your Windows 10 device to refresh and sync all changes made. Then, download and install the Xbox app

here and check if it works correctly this time.

I imagine certain games will also have the ability to record for longer like the theatre mode in Halo for example

To record clips longer than 30 seconds, you have to to do the following once you've started your game:

Press the guide button on your controller.
Press the menu button, then select Start recording.
To end your clip, press the guide button, then X on your controller.

Some parts of games won't let you record it. I've encountered that a few times.
