game stuck in installation queue on the xbox app

Let us check on this together and sort this out to assist your concern. However, before we proceed, we would like to ask few questions about it.

1. When did the problem start?
   
2. Was this working before?
   
3. Recent activity or changes made before the issue appeared?
   
4. What is the current version and edition of Windows Installed? (Search for WINVER in Windows search to see this)
   
5. Are your system drivers and device updated to the latest version?
   

These above questions would help us provide the necessary information. Once we have gathered all the information, we will formulate the viable solution to help you with your case.

So far, from the details you provided, you can try the following steps and let us know the result. You can just skip those you have done already.

First, check the Xbox status page for any alerts and sign in to receive a message when the service is up and running again.

Second, make sure you’re signed in with the profile that originally purchased the content.

Third, check the space on your hard drive to make sure you have enough space to install the content.

Fourth, try resetting the Microsoft Store app.

Fifth, terminate Xbox Game Pass for PC and restart.

Sixth, switch off your Series X or S and turn it on again.

Seventh, try closing both the Xbox app and the EA app, and then relaunch the Xbox app. Remove and reinstall Gaming Services.



If none of these solutions work for you, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox app.

Hi there SpiritOfDog welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. This might be a glitch with the Xbox app! I suggest uninstalling the app completely! Everytime that it tried to give me a hard time I do this and it works wonders! Here are the steps!
