game streaming from Xbox to laptop

I have a hp laptop (not a gaming laptop) it is windows 10 and I have both Xbox apps downloaded (Xbox one smart glass and the new Xbox app) and there is no option to game stream from my Xbox to my laptop I have looked it up and the place where everyone
says it is doesn't exist for me any help guys?

First off, Smartglass is no longer supported. You have the Xbox Console Companion, and the Xbox app on PC. To stream to your PC, you will first need to turn on game streaming in Devices & connections Remote features in the Settings. Once you have done
that, start the Xbox console companion, then make sure you are on the same network as the Xbox, sign in with the same Xbox account that is on the console, and select the connection icon on the left of the app, and then select the console that is connected,
and select stream. You should now be streaming your console to your PC.

Piztup-

Try uninstalling Zune, and reinstalling it, then reset up the share option. Remember to have the 360 switched on when you do. Might not help, but has worked for me in the past when if stopped working.

Check out TVersity, that seems to work well for me when streaming films.

nope, if you could stream to the xbox then the game would still run on the laptop, only games made for the xbox will run on the xbox.

Your laptop would need to have an HDMI In connection which most laptops do not. You can stream the Xbox to your laptop through the Xbox app and play that way. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/games/game-setup/how-to-use-game-streaming
