Game streaming disconnection and controller loss

Every few minutes, game streaming disconnects.

Everything is connected wired on a gigabit network. No problems are detected on Test Streaming, but streaming disconnects in the middle of games several times a night. Changing quality settings does not affect the frequency of disconnects. Forcing the console
to restart through the settings menu reduces the rate temporarily but it rises as time goes on.

Other times, the controller simply stops responding and I have to exit streaming and restart it. Obviously this is unacceptable in multiplayer games.

Please fix streaming.

Day One Controller Faulty?

This disconnection issue is really rather confusing. Clearly many of you have had this fixed either by firmware, replacement console or controller.

I had a replacement console where my Day One controller still disconnected so that went back - the replacement also had issues with discs.

Now I had a standard controller that I used frequently for 5mths with no disconnections. As mentioned, that too has now experienced a disconnection so I am feeling at a loss now. The only thing that has changed with my setup, is I have the Xbox One Stereo Headset, and the standard controller disconnection occurred when the headset was connected. So there's that, or it could be the recent Preview update.

I also did some googling and found this topic with comments on controller disconnections and Stereo Headset crackling and buzzing which I am in the process of getting the Stereo Headset replaced.

Testing done on the Xbox One controller wireless range using all three battery types: Play N' Charge, AA disposable and AA rechargeable. BONUS: Compared to 360 controller wireless range. : xboxone

According to the comments the buzzing sound can indicate wireless interference, which may also be the issue with the controller disconnections.

Yes, I have a wireless router and cordless phone in the same room. Maybe that is doing something, but it still doesn't explain why the standard controller would suddenly start disconnecting, unless having the headset connected makes it more prone to interference?

Really at a loss. PS4 is fine, Stereo Headset was fine on PS4 with no buzzing noises.

You only get disconnections when you quit, sign out, turn off your XBOX or if the connection fails. In the event you quit, it also counts as a loss and other disconnections give you a win for some reason. If an opponent quits, you get a win and no disconnection.
