    Forgot to mention that the only way I can stop the echo is to bring chat volume or overall volume WAY down.

    I also have this problem and I have no idea how to fix it. I've tried changing the chat and game volume to see if it would stop echoing but that didn't help. Any ideas.

    Why can’t I change my gamerpic on my Xbox app

    I think they have temporary stopped people from changing their gamerpics due to a high volume of people using the service.

    Party Chat TOO LOUD

    it's probably the Chat Mixer settings reducing the game volume.

    go into Settings (the gear icon) then select Display & sound

    select Volume from the options on the right

    select Chat Mixer

    select Do Nothing

    this should stop the Party Chat from lowering game volume and allow you to hear what is going on.
