Game stop codes for destiny TTK edition already used

I purchased a copy of the destiny TTK from game stop for my nephew after Christmas when he got his Xbox one and it had a set of codes inside the box. When he tried to use the codes they came back already used. After contacting Microsoft customer support
they say the codes were used on 9/16/15. Game stop states they will do nothing about it as it was a used game. Trying to see if there is a way to get the codes without him having to pay more for a game he thought he already had but got just the original destiny
game instead of TTK edition he thought he was purchasing.

Destiny The Taken King for 360

I purchased the TTK Collector's Edition Digital for $80 content on the Xbox Store and I just realize that is bit more expensive than the destiny orbit section. It tells me that it requires the TTK even though I bought the Collector's Edition about few days
ago before when it came out... Is really depressing when you have the Collector's Edition and you can't even play the game.

What are you talking about? TTK is $40. They have legendary and collector editions that range from $60-$80 for those who are into that. They come with base game, both expansion DLC's, TTK and some side goodies. If you already have the game (plus the expansion
or are at light level 30) you can just buy TTK, it's really not that serious.

Good luck with this issue. When you bought the game was it already open? Sounds like someone at GameStop used the code. Its going to be hard to prove as it's only going to turn into a "he said, she said". Try to avoid purchasing opened games that includes
codes.

I'd still like to hear the outcome of this issue.

Sorry to hear you're upset. Although Destiny was upgradeable from the 360 to the One when it first came out that was a time limited offer that has ended. Unfortunately it seems as though Activision and Bungie have decided to not do that with this incarnation
of the game.
