Game starting up in idle mode and cant get out

Sorry for the issue with the brightness when entering the game. Thanks also, for posting what you have tried thus far. Could you try and clear the local save games maybe the save has a corrupt file causing this. Go to settings>system>storage>clear local
save games. All saves are also saved to the cloud so you will be ok to do this step.

This is one of the more interesting questions I have seen. Give us an update when you have a chance as I would love to see if the problem was solved.

Also when my Xbox goes into idle mode I can see the idle screen

Hey, if the game was created under your profile that is where the save file will remain. You cant swap it over to another profile. To play that world your Gamertag will need to be signed in, and in the game. If you quit out of the game your wife and son
will be booted. If you have multiple xbox ones/Tv sets you could always start up the world and just remain idle, then your wife or son will be able to play "without you."
