Game Sharing works for games but can't play online.

Ok so I started gamesharing with my roommate for xbox gamepass ultimate. He agreed and we set it up.

Everything was good, I had all his gamepass games but, when I went to play online, It prompted me to pay for ultimate or gold, I tried rebooting and remove accounts, everything, but nothing worked. Please fix this Xbox!

Its not for game sharing its more to allow kids to play there own online gaming

That's how it works for sharing the subscription as well.

That is how it's meant to work. You can't share your subscriptions with her, but she does get access to your games, and if you subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate, she can play the games from the subscription and play online as well. She doesn't get access to anything else you get access to.

If everything worked properly before, then it sounds like someone, somewhere along the road, somehow changed their

home console settings. Double check both accounts and consoles in question to be sure that things are set correctly. If you continue to experience issues, you may want to reach out to

That's not how it works. Everybody can access everything on the home Xbox console, and the person who's account is in charge can access everything on any Xbox One console as long as they are online at the time. You can share the games, and play the games
at the same time. The link you provided even says as much. EA Access trials also can't be shared, neither can in-game currency and some multiplayer skins as well.
