Game Sharing won’t allow us to play different games at the same time

Have you both make sure the only signed in account is the one you own?

Because that message only pops up whenever the same account is being used on 2 devices at the same time

Well no you don't sign into his profile.

If you are trying to usr cloud only the subscriber can use it as part of xgu

If you are trying to access vault benefits that's account specific and does not share

Sometimes the game publisher won’t allow game sharing certain features. A DLC can sometimes be the feature that they won’t allow you to share.

Game sharing works better if the people are using the same console, for different consoles this willn't work properly. For example if you had Halo V and you shared the game with your friend who doesn't have it and on an different console and he plays it
you willn't be able too at the same time and vice versa.

If you want to play the same game on different console I suggest both owning a license of the game.
