Game sharing with my 2nd console

Hello friends,

I have few questions in regards to sharing games.

I have an old xbox one which I use at home with xbox gold subscription.

I have lots of digital games on it, my job has lot of international travel so I was considering to get another xbox one s for its value and I can carry it with me.

Questions:

1. How to I share my dl games on my new console?

2. Can I use my same account id on the new console?

3. Will it be a problem if I access my account from different countries(due to my travel job) in a month?

4. Do I need to keep my xbox on at home when I travel so that I can access my games on the other console?

5. what if I create another account for my travel console and add it to my old console?

Using Controller with Two Xbox One Consoles

Hello,

We have 2 xBox one consoles (i know, its a bit much, but we have 6 kids so sharing is an issue). When we try to use a controller on the 2nd console that has been previously synced to the 1st console, it will disconnect within a few seconds. Presumably it
is reconnecting to the 1st console (which is one room over).

Does anybody know if there is a way to tell the first console to "forget" the controller such that it is removed or de-registered? If we use the controller that came with the 2nd console with the 2nd console it works fine. But using any controller with the
2nd console previously used with the 1st console causes it to disconnect from the 2nd console within a few seconds.

Surely we are not the only family with 2 xbox consoles that has seen this problem?

1. As long as you're signed into your account, you can access your games on any console. If you won't be connected to Live, you'd want to set the console as your Home console.

2. Yes

3. You may run into issues if you try to download anything that is region locked (which are mostly 360 games), but otherwise no.

4. No

5. You would need to set that console as your Home console in or to access your games on the second account.

Hi, Steven! Thank you for your reply.

Each account can only designate one Home Xbox at any given time. However, if your daughter is using your son's old account, which If I understand correctly, was the one used to purchase MLB22 and other games, she should have no problems accessing those games. Even if her console is no longer designated as her account's (your son's old account) Home Xbox.

Your son, on the other hand, needs his new console to be designated as his old account's Home Xbox, so he's able to access MLB22 through his new account.

Thanks, and she won't have any issues playing on the old console and accessing all of her games if the old one is not her home anymore? I thought you could only have one Home console per household or Family account, but you're saying each user can have their own Home? Thanks again. We'll try this tomorrow.
