Game sharing on pc.

So this new call of duty game is coming out and my friend and i are game sharing on our xbox but we now both have pc. If i buy the call of duty game on my pc can he then download the call of duty game on his pc sense we are game sharing on our xbox? If
not how would we proceed to make it so he can download it on his pc after i buy the game.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare is not a Play Anywhere Game also you cannot game share on PC.

To play the game on the PC it would need to be purchased from the Blizzard Store / Client.

You can't share on pc like how you can on consoles

.there is a difference

On console anyone can use the gameshare to download the game but on pc they can't.

You have.to be signed into the xbox account wjth the profile that owns gamepass or the game and download it then switch back to your profile for achievements etc

Only downloadable content that you buy for an Xbox Play Anywhere
game that you own will also be playable on both
Xbox One and Windows 10
PC. If the game is not part of Xbox Play Anywhere you can't share it on PC.

There is no home function like on PC consoles but you can log into the account that has a subscription to the Microsoft Store app, download games, and log into the account you want to use to play games on the Xbox app.

Game share is a console feature (due to it's "Home" designation), not a PC feature. I believe you can (not 100% sure though) share between accounts on the same PC but not on different PCs.
