    Game share won’t work


    My cousin is game sharing on my xbox so that I can play Destiny Rise of Iron with him but it won’t work. I even tried having his account signed in while I played but it just won’t work. If someone has a solution to this please reply. Thanks for the help.

    Sometimes the game publisher won’t allow game sharing certain features. A DLC can sometimes be the feature that they won’t allow you to share.

    I bought the vault edition upgrade for mw3 and it’s not working

    I got the game by sharing with a different Xbox (which only works with digital games). The game was purchased digitally on a separate account and Xbox but I am able to play it on my account and Xbox from game sharing. Is that why my digital vault edition upgrade won’t work?

    Gamesharing outside of your own physical household is against the rules & can lead to an account or even a console ban.

    Sorry to hear about that. Game sharing should work as long as Gamepass is active on the main account. If it’s on a secondary account that isn’t marked as “home console” then it won’t work. Here is a thread about this topic: Game

    She is on my family account but it won’t let us share a game pass. I have mine marked as the home game and we have separate .outlook.com.

    I can try the hotspot but like I mentioned all other internet apps work. Just not the game apps. So youtube, Hulu, Netflix, etc, all work.
