    Game Share Problem


    Me and a friend are game sharing and so far we haven't had any problems and just the other night I was able to play Halo 5 online. So its a recent problem, so yesterday when I logged in and went to join my friends party it said I could not join because I
    don't have gold. I haven't had Gold in nearly a year and haven't had this problem before but now everytime I try to start a party or play multiplayer it says I need a gold membership, I never had this problem before so is this a feature they added very recently or
    am I just being a ****? (Yes we are still game sharing because I'm able to play Call of Duty which he bought bought digitally.) Any help appreciated!

    Game Share Problem

    I've recently set my girlfriends Xbox as "My home" Xbox so she can play my downloaded games. But I've done that and it tells her she doesn't own them and links her to buy them. Why can't she play them? I thought that was the point for My Home Sharing?

    Game share problem

    I add my friend’s account on home Xbox but as I leave the home Xbox page, the Xbox is no longer set as my home Xbox. I tried it with my second account and when I made it my home Xbox it stayed as the home Xbox account. I think it may be a glitch with just
    his account because it seems to be only his account that can’t be made as my home Xbox account.

    Game Share Problem

    That means that there is not an account on your console that has gold and has your console set as its home console.

    His account is on my Xbox. My account is on his Xbox. My Xbox is set as his home Xbox and his Xbox is set as my home Xbox. He still has Gold as he's able to play online but for some reason I still can't.

    Just because hes online doesnt mean that his gold is still active that could mean that there is another profile on his console that has his console set as their home console and has a gold subscription.

    The best way to figure out is if you can sign into his account on your xbox and go into settings and under the account tab go to subscriptions it will tell you if his gold is still active or not.

    I'm sorry to see any issues downloading a game! I'm wondering if the purchase didn't go through properly. If your friend is relative to your location, are they able to log into their account and find out if they can download it themselves? Let me know how

    There can be violations of the Terms of Service in how some people implement, but setting a console, regardless of location, as Home Console itself does not violate the terms. If you give someone else your account credentials to log in and set
    it, then yes. Is it against the spirit of the setting? Sure. Is it against the letter of the setting? Not necessarily.

    Am i the only one whos forgetting game sharing is breaking the terms?

    the home console feature is designed for family. Sharing games with your friends because you dont want to buy games isnt allowed.
