    Game share home Xbox MW3


    So in my house we have 4 gamers: myself; partner; son 1 and son 2.

    I have the main account for myself and partner- son 1 is the home Xbox for both boys.

    Now usually we buy 2 of every game and share them through the home Xbox for the other person.

    Only when firing up MW3 my partner and sons both state they need to buy the game as the playlists are locked?

    All other games we all share are still working fine.

    What’s changed in MW3?

    home xbox setting is for the home not to share games with others outside of the home, sharing credentials is also against the terms and leads to a ban.

    Game sharing like this is against the code pf conduct. Home Xbox was designed to share your Live and games on your Xbox, within your home environment.

    Game Sharing is actually against the terms of use.

    The home console setting was only meant to share the games within your own household on your console not to share with your friends.
