    Hi, so i gameshare with my boyfriend last year a few times and i was told that it would reset on the 3/1/2020 which was yesterday but when he logged into my account and tried to make my account his xbox home, it didnt work??? :/

    Yeah it told me a day which is yesterdays date :/ so i dunno if I’m meant to wait another after for it to reset or not

    Hey Saffron

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with being able to configure your Home Xbox due to your Home Xbox switches not resetting.

    Actually, in the link provided by Xbox Forums Ambassador
    Noahgriff    , it states "Customer support can’t offer additional switches. If you’ve made five home Xbox switches for the year and you need assistance, select
    Help when you see the message Can’t make this your home Xbox. You may be eligible to receive an exception."

    Additionally, if you have exceeded your limit of switches, you should be prompted with a time frame in which you would be able to switch your Home Xbox once more. At this point, we recommend that you continue to wait for that switch.

    I'm sorry about any confusion or turmoil this might have caused.

    Hey saffron, did it come up with a new date telling you when you would be able to gameshare? Also If you boyfriend has had multiple users as his home xbox that might be the reason it hasn't worked.
