Game screen not adjusting to full screen in a way it should

You can try resetting the display settings. You can do so by

1. If there is a disc in the console, remove it.
2. Turn off the console.
3. Turn on the console by using your controller. To do this, press and hold the controller's Xbox Guide button until your console turns on.
   
   Note If multiple controllers are connected to your console, make sure that you use the player one controller. You can recognize the player one controller because the upper-left quadrant of the Guide button is lit up on that controller.
   
4. While the console is starting, press and hold the Y button and pull the right trigger at the same time. Continue holding the buttons when you see the Xbox 360 logo.
   
5. The console will restart and you will see the Xbox 360 logo again.
   
   The console's display settings are now reset to the defaults

You need to just readjust your game to your screen, which should be found in options>video>screen adjust. Or something of that nature.

When you start the game, click options. Under Graphics, there's two options side by side saying "Windowed" and "Full Screen." The Full Screen option should be darkened. Click on that, and the game will say it needs to restart. Click yes, then relaunch
the game. The game should be in full screen mode.
