    Rocket league won’t download. “The item you’re trying to use appears to be corrupt. Try uninstalling and reinstalling it. (0x80070570). I’ve tried reinstalling I’ve reset my xbox and xbox live account what is wrong.

    I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your game Rocket League. No worries, let me help you sort this out.

    If I may ask, does the same error occur in other games as well or just specifically in Rocket League?

    Kindly try to clear the local save and resync with the cloud. Here's how:

    It’s possible that the local save for your game has become corrupted. If so, deleting the local save and re-syncing with the cloud might correct the problem.

    First, delete the local save:

    Press the Xbox button  to open the guide and then select My games & apps > See all > Games.
    Highlight the game title, and then press the Menu button  on your controller.
    Select Manage game and add-ons > Saved data.
    Select Delete all to remove the local save of this game, then follow the prompts.

    After you delete the local save, restart your Xbox:

    Press and hold the Xbox button  in the center of your controller.
    Select Restart console, then follow the prompts.

    After you restart your Xbox, re-sync your saved games to the cloud. Your saved games are automatically stored in the cloud while you’re connected to the Xbox service.

    Try installing the game again to see if re-syncing with the cloud corrected the game problem.

    Note: When doing this step please make sure that you used to play this game online so that all your data is saved to the cloud.

    My fortnite has corrupted and won't reinstall.

    It says that it can't be launched and that the item is corrupt. Try uninstalling and reinstalling. Followed by the code (0x80070570), immediately after trying to install.

    Hello @ImBiggieCheez!

    With issues like these, I would suggest to preform a Soft Factory Rest by selecting Reset and keep my games & apps. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data that can cause this issue without deleting your games or apps.

    To Reset your console, Select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

    it still stops at the same spot and says that it is corrupt. I did the reset twice.

    I'll recommend you do a power cycle to clear the system cache

    - Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

    - Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 2 minutes.

    - Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on and check if it's all good.

    If that doesn't help, I'll suggest you try doing a factory reset keeping games and apps on your console. This will refresh the console and remove all potential bugs without deleting any game data.

    - Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    - Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    - Select Reset console.

    - Choose Keep Games and Apps

    Once that is done, you'll need to sign into the console using your Microsoft account credentials. If the issue is with your console, that should fix it.
