Game said new downloadable content has been downloaded and either go to main menu or return...

Welcome to Microsoft Xbox Community Forum. I understand that you are experiencing issues with your game's downloadable content. This could be caused by a corrupted or incomplete download, or a compatibility problem with your game version.



May I know which Xbox console do you use?

Which game also is causing this issue or does this happen on all of your games installed on the console?

First, kindly try these steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Go to My games & apps on your Xbox home screen and select the game that is having the problem.

2. Press the Menu button on your controller and select Manage game & add-ons.

3. Find the downloadable content that is causing the issue and press the Menu button again. Select Uninstall.

4. Once the uninstall is complete, go back to My games & apps and select the game again.

5. Press the Menu button and select Manage game & add-ons again.

6. Find the downloadable content that you uninstalled and select Install.

7. Wait for the download and installation to finish, then launch the game and check if the issue is resolved.

Next, if issue persists, I recommend trying a hard reset of your Xbox console. To do this, please follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the front of the console for 10 seconds.

2. After the console has turned off, wait for a few seconds and then turn it back on.



If the issue persists after the hard reset, please try clearing the cache on your Xbox console. To do this, please follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it turns off completely.

2. Unplug the power cable from the back of the console.

3. Wait for at least 10 seconds before plugging the power cable back in.

4. Turn on the console and try launching the game again.



If the issue still persists, it may be worth trying to uninstall and reinstall the game. To do this, please follow these steps:

1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

2. Select My games & apps.

3. Highlight the game you want to uninstall and press the Menu button on your controller.

4. Select Uninstall.

5. Once the game has been uninstalled, go to the Microsoft Store and reinstall the game.

Hello,

If you redeemed your season pass on your account, please make sure it's actually downloaded onto your console by going to your Xbox 360 Dashboard > Settings > Account > Download History > Borderlands 2 Season Pass.

Once you've confirmed that, please launch the game and follow the instructions below:

1) In the main menu of Borderlands 2, select "Downloadable Content."

2) Select and download "Season Pass" from the menu. If you have already purchased a Season Pass on the account you're logged in to, you will not be charged again.

3) Once the "Season Pass" has finished downloading, return to the main menu of Borderlands 2.

4) From the main menu of Borderlands 2, select "Downloadable Content."

5) Any available "Season Pass" content should now be listed as "Free" allowing you to download and install any applicable add-ons through the "Downloadable Content" menu at no additional charge.

If this is the case, then why is the second profile on my console not able to access any of the content I have saved (Main Profile) on the same console. DRM has been transfered to the new console, and content in question has been "Re-downloaded" to said
new console.

Start the game go down to download content on the main menu. It should be in there that's where mine was. Hope this helps!
