    Game removed from my downloads completely


    So yesterday I had bought a redemption code from best buy for Minecraft for the xbox one console.

    I redeemed it on my profile on my Xbox console and today when I went to play Minecraft it said I didn't own the game so I went to uninstall then to reinstall it. mm so I proceeded to the store to reinstall and I had to pay $19.99 for it again. I checked
    my recent transactions and it doesn't appear there either. Is there a way my code for the game can be verified that it was used on my console and profile?

    Games purchased but no longer available.

    Most of the time you can re-download if it's in your history, but every so often a game is removed from the system completely.

    [BUG REPORT]

    Generally anything you download can be redownloaded from your download history even after it's no longer possible to purchase from the marketplace. So that's not really a bug. It just means the games hasn't been completely removed from the servers.

    Code redemptions do not appear in your transaction history - that's for when you buy from the game using funds (either Microsoft Account funds, credit/debit cards or PayPal).

    The game should however show up in your Ready to Install list if it's not already installed on your console, but you seem to have it working now so all seems good.

    transformers war of cybertron for the xbox 360 which I bought 2012

    Could a fellow Xbox Ambassador back me up on this? There have been instances where a game, due to licensing issues, even when purchased can be unavailable to download if completely removed from the marketplace?
    There are a handful that were completely removed from the servers so you can't redownload them, but the Transformers games should still be downloadable.

    Really xbox!?!?!

    Cancelling a download/s will remove the game completely. This is by design to stop getting corrupt files, from parcial dowloads.
