Game Refunds for Rewards Points?

To all gamers & Xbox team members.

I know Refund Requests are declinded after a game has been played a certain amount of hours / other circumstances.

However, if a player has old digital games / DLC on their account they no longer play / out grew., you should allow a refund or exchange for Reward Points.

That way players can effectively trade out games & put their Reward points towards another digital game / DLC they wish to purchase.

Wheter the rewards are cashed out at original sale value or current market value is up for debate.

This could also help for those who wish to permanentley remove Free Games, Demos & Trials from their library (at the cost of 0 reward points)

I think it's a great idea for people who wish to clear out their library & could help sell copies of newer release games.

NOTE'

This could also apply to Digital Movies & TV purchases.

You are forgetting the most important factor who pays for your return

MS only gets 20-30 % of the digital sales in some cases 0% of the sales just to get new games (Activision until the deal closed)

And by you returning it they have to set values to them ar you sure you want 1 dollar that expires in 3months ? That 80 bucks unless you are buying a ms game studio game won't goto ms

14days or 2hours is pretty generous not.to.mention the 360 marketplace is being shut down so what's the point unless you mean later then 2016

Refunds of points may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Once you order a Reward, you cannot cancel it or return it for a refund of points. If you have questions about an order, contact

I do not think they refund microsoft rewards points for accidental sweepstake entries. I am sorry but good luck on the sweepstake

Thank you for reaching out to us with this question. You can always request the refund going through the Refund Request form. Of course if the refund is approved then those points should be deducted from your account as it could be considered a form of fraud
if you receive the refund and redeem those points for other rewards.

Once the refund has been approved just give it sometime for those rewards points to be removed. If you would like to ask for more information you can always submit a support ticket directly to the Rewards Team so that they can provide more information regarding
this.
