    Thanks for all the help everyone. I'll get on to it. Just to let you know i'm the other side of the pond so these $ thingys means nothing to me but i think the £60 mark is about the equivalent i was expecting. Cheers guys and happy gaming.

    Okay, since you're using a Xbox 360 you cannot record in-game footage without using a capture card. Capture cards can be found at Best Buy, Amazon.com, and Fry's Electronics. The capture card I suggest using is the Elgato Game Capture HD. It's price ranges
    from $150-$180 depending on where you buy it from. It is by FAR the best capture card in my opinion. I used a HD PvP from 2 years. It's size is like a brick, it requires a lot of cables, and it crashes a whole lot! I discovered the Elagto Game Capture HD about
    a year ago and I've been using it ever since. It's the size of a smartphone, requires only three cables, and records EXCELLENT quality videos while never crashing. For more info visit:

    We'd be happy to help but if you wouldn't mind, we would love some more information about what specifically happens when you try to record gameplay on your PC.

    Do you receive an error code or an error message?

    Does this only happen with Fortnite or with any game?

    Xbox record screen just can record one application?

    Hi,

    The Windows Game Bar recording function isn't a screen recorder, it's limited to recording one game or application at a time. To record the whole screen you'll need a third party application.

    Game Bar names recordings after the app it was recording, so in this case it was recording the Control Panel.

    Game Bar can only record one app window, it will record the app which was focused when you started the recording. It cannot switch to recording another app after you begin recording.

    I'm afraid it won't be possible to fix this recording. Game Bar only recorded that specific window; you can't go back and change that as any other data was not captured during the recording.

    If you wish to record your whole screen, I recommend using a different recording app such as OBS. Game Bar is designed for recording games, hence why it can only capture one window at a time.
