    If i have a balance of 30$ (Microsoft account balance) from the rewards program, and i try to buy a 60$ game will it charge the other half on my credit card?

    Yes, but pay attention on billing screen and select your Microsoft account balance as first billing method, so the site ask you a second billing method for the other 30$.

    If you select your credit card as your FIRST billing method, your account balance will be untouched.

    Yes I recently purchased an upgrade for eldrr Scrolls online and was able to use both my MS balance and my stored card details

    Yes my friend, if you have $30 in wallet on microsoft and want get some product with price is the double you go pay half in wallet cash and the other half you go use some other payment method

    I'm sure it will. I have credit on my MS account and when I buy games, the outstanding amount gets paid from my CC
