Game purchased on Xbox store doesn't appear as purchased in windows xbox app or phone xbox app

I purchased the Master Chief collection when it was on sale some months ago, played it on Xbox with no issues. Recently built a new desktop PC with Windows 11 Home. when in the Xbox app on the PC, under owned games, it does not appear.

On my phone Xbox app its the same story under owned games, it does not appear. In the store via the phone app, it says "download to console" but i would like to download it to my PC.

In the store online, it says "Install this you own this game" but then upon clicking that, it gives me no options, just

"When you're away from your console or your Windows 10 device, you can still get ready to play your next Xbox console game

Here's how to get your console and Windows 10 device ready for installations you'll be able to start from your phone or mobile device."

There's not actually anything under it, besides a cancel and learn more button, which just takes me to a page reiterating the same thing.

To play Halo The Master Chief Collection on PC, you will have to purchase the PC version. You do not get for free for PC if you own it on Xbox, as it is not a Play Anywhere title.

Dang. that is so lame, Purchasing it via microsoft should give me that everywhere i can access the xbox app

On my windows Phone it has an inbuilt Xbox live app that stores your games, allows you to update your profile and check achievements but only window phone games and Xbox 360 appear the Xbox one doesn't

It means that these games were not purchased in this profile, but in another.

The history is permanent and immutable, microsoft has no procedure that eliminates any purchase history.

So if it doesn't appear, it means it wasn't purchased on that profile.

The game just doesn't appear in the history, if it was purchased by Gold, or gamepass.

Another test you can do is download the xbox app on your phone, and open the library to check which games are available in your account.

Roll the store bar while you are in Gears 4, it will probably appear at the top to purchase the game by pressing the "X" button for free. And to make sure you got the game, just go to the xbox app on your phone and browse the store, it will show the date
you purchased the game
