    Game purchased on XBox.com doesn't appear in Ready to Install list


    I want to purchase "The Orange Box" games collection from Valve for my XBox One. It is listed an XBox 360 game but found on the compatibility list.

    I cannot purchase it directly on XBox One. I'm told that it must be purchased from XBox.com. I found it there, but I had some doubt as to how purchasing it there would allow me to download it to the XBox One. So, as I tested, I "purchased" the free, related
    demo for Half Life 2. XBox.com reported that the game would appear in my Ready to Install list.

    This was about 17 hours ago, and the game has not appeared in the Ready to Install list. I've rebooted the XBox One, my ethernet router, confirmed I was online, etc. The game just doesn't appear there. (I'm glad I tried this test before purchasing the
    actual Orange Box.

    Anyone know how to get this game from XBox.com onto my XBox One?

    Hi

    You will need to get your friend to set your console as their home console and then download the game. Once they have done this you should be able to play the game.

    Hi.

    I added my friends Xbox Live account for Titanfall 2 but it doesn't appear in Ready to install. First thing I did was hard restart and it didn't fix it. removing and adding the account also didn't fix it.

    Also, I can see the game in my friend's Game list in his Xbox Live profile.

    The demo would not be backwards compatible so it won't show as available on the One.

    As long as you are signed into the same account on the website, any games you purchase that are for the One or are backwards compatible will either start to download automatically on your Home console or will show as ready to install.

    Are you trying to purchase Gears of War 3? Purchasing Xbox 360 games is not currently available through the store on the Xbox One console - you'll need to use an Xbox 360 or Xbox.com to complete the purchase, and then the game will appear in your Ready
    to Install list of My Games and Apps on your Xbox One.

    have you tried going on xbox.com going on the 360 part and purchasing the games on the website after that the games you purchase appear as ready to install on your xbox one :)

    Are you able to log into
    account.microsoft.com     and see that all your billing and card info is enter in there correctly?

    Are you able to search xbox.com and try to purchase the item from the website? If it is a game once you purchase on the website it will appear in your ready to install list.
