Game purchased from microsoft store, can I switch PCs without buying another copy?

I want to run a game I purchased on one laptop on another. It wont let me play. Do I need to uninstall it on the first laptop, before it will download on the other? Minecraft Dungions.

if the game is play anywhere you won't have any problems, but if you don't have to buy another copy of the game

Are both PCs listed in the My Devices page for the same account?

I agree that you will need to sign out of your original laptop before installing and playing on your new laptop.

Hi, I believe it should be possible to download it on multiple computers. However to play it you may be required to 'only' be signed into the device you wish to play on, and sign into Xbox live on that device in order to play.

You can only play on one system at a time so you will have to log out off of the first laptop and then you should be good to go.
