    Game purchased from Marketplace not installing


    Hey all!

    Hope everyone has recovered nicely from the holidays! The disc for the game broke so I decided to purchase it digitally. Payment went through but it won't install! I have 100GB free, which is plenty for the game. I've restarted, hard reset and running out
    of ideas. I've checked this support page Troubleshoot Game or App Installation Problems | Xbox One but nothing has worked so far and I'm running out of
    ideas.

    Does anyone have any suggestion on what I should do next?

    forza 4 in-game marketplace error.

    Months later, issue persists.

    Using other forums knowledge , i already removed the whole game, cleared system cache, tried installing ingame, tried installing from the dashboad (not ingame).

    I also tried installing any of the DLC packages (car packs nov2011-apr2012) outside of the game, but Marketplace would charge my account 560 MSP points.

    Having purchased both season pass & VIP membership, those packs should be available at no costs , but they are not.

    I want my money back!

    If you're trying to share a game that was downloaded from the Xbox marketplace, then yes, that could be seen as marketplace theft and is not allowed. Content purchased from the marketplace is tied to the gamertag that purchased it.

    Downloading from disk and unlocking digital version.

    The install file from the disc and the download from the marketplace are different files. So if you purchase it from the marketplace you will still need to download the full game.

    Some back compat games & dlc cannot be purchased on the Xbox One, but if you purchase from xbox marketplace on xbox.com or xbox 360, then the dlc will show in ready to install of the manage game section. Just select it and start the install.

    If you own both copies then you would not need to purchase it again.

    Are you trying to install the game from the marketplace or are you trying to log in to the game?

    Just to be clear, when you say downloaded you mean it was purchased from the Marketplace, or you installed it from the disc? Is this the only game you are having issues with?
