Game purchased counts as points or not?

Hi there, does purchasing games digitally counts towards the rewards points? If yes then for how many points for each game?

I am a long time xbox user and had purchased my entire xbox one library digitally on the official microsoft store, though I had only been received 5000 points for my lifetime. Could you please kindly take a look at this matter? Many thanks.

in regards to preordered titles in the xbox rewards program

If and when I preorder a game from the XBL store and it becomes unlocked to me, does it then count as a purchased game and count toward my rewards? Or does it not at any point as it was, strictly speaking, a preorder?

 

What counts as a purchased program?

Does buying "Mobility and Strength Training for Xbox Fitness" for £0 count as a purchased program for a year's access til July 1 2017?

 

It depends on what offers are running at the time. In order to receive credits, your purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time, or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates. So not every purchase
will earn credits. You can see all offers for earning credits on the Missions page of the rewards site.

Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes, movies, TV shows, TV seasons, themes and avatar
items. In-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, Groove Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points or Xbox Gift Cards, still do not qualify.



You have not been receiving Rewards for your purchases because you registered as an Australian Rewards Member. We can only Reward purchases made in your Rewards region's currency. Since you have been spending in a different regional currency, those purchases
are not eligible for Rewards.

If you wish to continue with Rewards in your current Xbox Live region you will have to close your current Australian Rewards Account by opting out of the program at ( https://rewards.xbox.com/optout/ )
, wait 48 hours and then sign back up again to create a new Rewards Account set to your current Microsoft Account region, which can also take 48 hours. While you will lose your progress by starting a brand new account, you can start earning Rewards Credits
that will successfully reward your newly registered regional currency. To confirm that you have re-registered correctly, you can check your join date from the MyRewards page at (Xbox Live Rewards).
If your join date shows a specific date and not a date of "???", then your account has successfully been re-registered. If you open a new post after being able to log in to your new Rewards account, you can request any pending deposits from your old account
to your new one.
