Game Pass yearly subscription

I know that Game Pass is typically $9.99/month, but I thought there was a $99.99/year option early on. No longer see that. Was that a thing and just discontinued or not?

I purchased the yearly subscription to the XBOX Game Pass and it was supposed to come with Forza 3 and Forza Motersport 7; I was told to wait 5-7 business days and that was back on Sept 19th and I still haven't received my games.

That's a deal meaning you purchase a yearly subscription, not a month for the 4.19. It's 4.19 a month by buying a yearly subscription.

That was a special promotion that has ended. You can sometimes find a yearly subscription as a prepaid code at retailers or you can buy them as 6 month codes.

 

I'm thinking that the yearly sale (or something similar) is likely going to pop up again during the holidays.

 

Thanks all for the responses! Love Game Pass, but was looking for a less expensive option. I'll surely keep an eye out during the upcoming holiday season!

 

If you're not already part of it, you should look into the Microsoft Rewards program. You earn points for doing things and can use the points for Game Pass. So that makes it free.

 

Thanks Smwutches! Usually use MS Rewards for XBox Live sub, but looks to be a better point-to-dollar value for Game Pass. Does that ever go on a "Hot Deal" like the XBox/Microsoft gift cards?
