    Game Pass Ultimate shows active but not working on console


    Hello everyone,

    I recently encountered an issue with my Game Pass Ultimate subscription. It's showing as active on my account, but when I try to access any of the Game Pass services on my console, nothing seems to be working. I've checked my network connection, rebooted the console, and even reinstalled the Xbox app, but the problem persists. It’s quite frustrating since my subscription is current and up to date.

    Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any suggestions on what steps I should try next? Your help would be greatly appreciated!

    We’re excited to have you here and have great conversations! I'd be happy to be of assistance.

    I'm sorry to hear about this issue. Did you recently subscribe or renew your subscription? There may be an issue related to that. In the meantime, please try the steps below:

    1. Verify if the subscription is showing as active here: https://account.microsoft.com/services

    2. If it's active, try resyncing your profile to Xbox Live

    A. REMOVE ACCOUNT

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    2. Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

    3. Select the account that you want to remove, remove to confirm.

    4. Select Close.

    B. POWER DRAIN

    1. Make sure that your console is turned on, then unplug the power cable at the back to turn it off.

    2. Press the power button for about 15 seconds even though it's already off. (This will remove the remaining power on your Xbox)

    3. Wait for 2 minutes and plug the power cable

    4. Turn on console and wait for the dashboard to appear before signing in

    Why can't I play games online? Even though I have ultimate game pass which includes Xbox live?

    For the Xbox Game Pass just to clarify, is it showing as active and does it show on your end if it is the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, or is it a different one?

    The one that has Xbox live should be the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate just in case a different subscription is showing.

    In my earlier post, I indicate that I now have Game Pass for Console. I'm prompted to move back to ultimate, or to Live Gold. My Game Pass for Console subscription shows as active. Are you saying I need Gold and Game pass for Console?

    Ok, then confirm that you have the suscription active here

    https://account.microsoft.com/services

    If it's active confirm that it's Xbox Game Pass for Pc or Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass for console won't work.

    After that be sure that the account that has the suscription active its logged in the Microsoft Store app
