    Game Pass Ultimate - Sharing subscription on my son's PC


    I have Ultimate on the family Xbox

    My son has a profile on that Xbox

    He is unable to play games on his PC using His profile

    He has play using my profile

    I thought that all profiles in the family group with Ultimate could play the games on the console as well as PC?

    Yes my Xbox one is designated as the Home console

    Yes my son is part of the family group

    Yes he is designated as an organizer

    When he signs in under his profile it says he doesn't' own the game.

    Why isn't this promised feature working for us?

    Not with just PC Game Pass as that would only be for the PC, not the console. Game Pass Ultimate would include both Game Pass for console and PC Game Pass as well as Gold (which is needed to play online on the console). If you switched to Ultimate, you could set the console as your Home console to share the subscription with your son. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox

    Sharing Xbox Console Ultimate Game Pass doesn’t seem to work

    Just an update, I contacted Xbox Technical Support and after investigation they refreshed my Ultimate Game Pass subscription as they thought it wasn’t quite syncing with my console.

    This was successful and my son is able to go online gaming without me signing in and thus sharing my Ultimate Game Pass subscription.

    I understand your question.
    To share subscription between PC and console, you need Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

    • The Game Pass for console works only on the console.
    • Game Pass for PC works on PC only.
    • Game Pass Ultimate works on both

    If you have Ultimate you can share with him
