    I bought an Xbox One external hard drive (from Seagate) and it came with a redemption code for one month of Game Pass Ultimate. I currently have a Live Gold account, if I redeem this one month, can I go back down to my Live Gold account after? Will it happen
    automatically? Thanks.

    Xbox Gold conversion

    If you are already a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, then any Gold codes you redeem will be converted to Game Pass Ultimate. If you are not an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscriber, then no, the Gold codes should not convert to Game Pass Ultimate.

    Was it a standard Game Pass card or Game Pass Ultimate? Did you already have Game Pass Ultimate when uou redeemed the code?

    If the Game Pass code was for Game Pass Ultimate, not just Game Pass, then the remaining Gold you had would have been converted to Game Pass Ultimate when you redeemed that code since Ultimate includes Gold. So by cancelling the Ultimate subscription, you would have cancelled everything.

    If I gift Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to a friend but they already have Xbox Core what happens?

    If they redeem the code, then it would convert their subscription to Game Pass Ultimate, and cancel Game Pass Core.

    If you have game pass, ultimate and redeem a gold code, you will only get the equivalent dollar amount of game pass ultimate time
