    Recently I got 2000 points from game pass and I decided to claim it and got 330 coins for minecraft and when I went into the game the coins didn’t appear and I only have 40 coins and I was wondering what I did wrong.

    yes, you can obtain the rewards points from completing the Game pass Quests and the quest for Game pass Ultimate members, you will not how ever obtain rewards points for purchasing the subscription itself.

    At this point in time there is no other way to purchase Game Pass Ultimate, other than by subscription. So Microsoft account balance will not cover it.
