Here is the convertion ratio:

1 month of Gold = 20 days of Ultimate

3 months of Gold 50 = days of Ultimate (1+ month)

6 months of Gold 79 = days of Ultimate (2+ months)

12 months of Gold 4= months of Ultimate

24 months of Gold 8= months of Ultimate

1 month of Xbox Game Pass (Console Games)= 20 days of Ultimate

3 months of Xbox Game Pass (Console Games)= 2 months of Ultimate

6 months of Xbox Game Pass (Console Games)= 4 months of Ultimate

12 months of Xbox Game Pass (Console Games)= 5 months of Ultimate

24 months of Xbox Game Pass (Console Games)= 10 months of Ultimate

The Xbox Game pass ultimate has Gold with it but if you put in a 12 month code for gold at the end of January it should have converted the 12 month pass

Did you have the ultimate game pass before you put in the code for the 12 months of gold?

If so when you put in the 12 months it would have per the above conversion table just added 4 months onto the end date of your game pass ultimate.

Did you possibly go in and accidentally cancel the game pass ultimate? This would have also cancelled the gold subscription.

If you don't have an active Ultimate subscription, regardless of whether you've had one in the past, when you pay for a month of Ultimate, it will convert your existing subscriptions over at the following rates: -

Xbox Live Gold = 1:1

Game Pass = 1:1

EA Play = 3:1

You can stack up up to 36 months of any single subscription, so, the cheapest way to get Game Pass Ultimate is to buy some pre-paid Gold codes from sites like Amazon or NewEgg, redeem them, then pay for 1 month of Ultimate to convert the Gold to Ultimate.

An example: -

You're starting with nothing.

You buy and redeem 2 x 12 month Gold codes for $60 each from Amazon. You now have 24 months of Gold.

You pay for 1 month of Ultimate, which costs $15. Your 24 months of Gold gets converted to 24 months of Ultimate, plus you paid for 1 month, so you now have 25 months of Ultimate for $135.

As long as you have a Ultimate Game Pass subscription, it will convert any new time. I would wait until your Ultimate has ended and then start a new Gold membership, otherwise you will only end up with 5 months of Ultimate.

After you join the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate plan, you can continue to redeem Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass codes. These codes will automatically convert to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at a ratio based on the ERP (Estimated Retail Price)
of those codes.
