Game Pass Ultimate paid but no access to the Xbox Live services

Hi,

Since yesterday I'm unable to use the Xbox live services, while I have the Xbox game pass Ultimate.

I checked the payment. The amount is withdrawn from my account, it mentions Microsoft and Game Pass Ultimate on Sept 18. But in my account I see that the renew date is still Sept 18, and there is no invoice or something from the last payment.

I do have access to all the games from the Game Pass.

What do I do? Thanks in advance.

This is a live service game, and therefore requires access to Xbox live. If you don’t have gold or game pass ultimate, the game will not function. As it is not free to play, it requires you to have a subscription

Thanks, that's what I wanted to know. In that case my complaint is that they should have said on the box, "Requires paid access to Xbox live," but they didn't — just "Requires Internet," which is misleading. Now I'm going to have to wonder every time I buy a game for Xbox whether it requires a paid subscription if the box doesn't say.

If you subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate, your remaining Xbox Live converts into Game Pass Ultimate days. If the Game Pass Ultimate has run out you can either carry on with Game Pass Ultimate, or buy Xbox Live on its own. If you cancel Game Pass Ultimate
you lose any pre paid Xbox Live time.

please double check
http://account.microsoft.com/services to see if the subscription is showing there.

If the subscription shows, try the following steps

Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)
Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

Redownload your profile

If these steps fail, then its best to contact Xbox Support (via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) at
http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

Hi again,

I contacted the Xbox chat support and within minutes they solved my issue. The subscription was canceled and re-enabled and now it works.

I'm happy!
