Game Pass Ultimate only half active?

Check if the account that has the subscription is logged in the Microsoft Store app on your Windows. Open the app and log in with the account in the upper right corner, after that look for a game in the Microsoft Store app and see if the option to install appears.

Try to clear the Microsoft Store cache

Press Windows Key + R to launch Run.

Enter wsreset.exe and hit Enter.

Once the reset process finished, restart your PC and then check if it works.

this is still half answered. I am at 17 tenure and want to keep it. I am somewhat weary of upgrading to ultimate game pass as there is nothing super clear about tenure

it seems there would be some kind of gap when going game pass ultimate -> Gold, as you can't convert back? or is it covered if i were to cancel game pass ultimate during a mid-month of active subscription, and same day/before end of active game pass ultimate
expires - add active gold sub??

If you had Xbox Game Pass Ultimate already active before you redeem that code, when you enter a code for Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass it will add as Game Pass Ultimate and not only Xbox Game Pass, is this your case?

We had an active Gold subscription and my son tried the Game pass for a month and then cancelled it but now we don't have anything and we are only 5 months into our year of Gold. Why do we not have anything now?
