Game Pass Ultimate not recognizing my subscription after renewal

Hi everyone,

I recently renewed my Game Pass Ultimate subscription, but for some reason, it’s not being recognized on my account. Before the renewal, everything was working perfectly, but now I can't access any games or features. I've checked that the renewal went through in my billing history, and everything seems fine there.

I’ve tried signing out and back into my account, restarting my device, and even uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox app, but nothing has worked so far. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues activating your Xbox Ultimate from your rewards. To isolate your case, please login to this link using your Microsoft account where you purchased the Game Pass and see if it will show as an active subscription.

Once confirmed that you have an active Game Pass subscription. Please use the Microsoft Gaming Repair Tool for Xbox App, this tool detects and automatically repairs error found on your system. Please download and install it using this link then run it as administrator.

Once done, try to log in and make sure that you are using the same Microsoft account where you confirmed your active subscription. Please also login to your Microsoft store using the same account.

Hello Brad, by chance my subscription to The Ultimate Game Pass also ends on the 18th, as I have the automatic renewal turned off, he shows this warning but is not forcing me to re-sign or renew, it's just a warning that the 18th will be the last valid day of the subscription.

In this case after the subscription expires I will see the best option to re-subscribe to the Ultimate Game Pass.

I am having the exact same issue! Just renewed and upgraded to XBox Game Pass Ultimate, the phone app works fine, hell I can even use Cloud play. But on my PC, the XBox App doe not recognize my Game Pass subscription. I hope we will be reimbursed for the
lost time once the issue is fixed.

No, that was a promotion for upgrading to Game Pass Ultimate. What you need to do is renew your Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

If you had an existing Gold subscription on your account and you took advantage of the Game Pass Ultimate offer, all those months of Gold were converted to Game Pass Ultimate, which includes Game Pass console, Game Pass PC and Xbox Live Gold. If you turn
off auto-renew, your GP Ultimate subscription ends at the end of the purchased period (your remaining months of Gold - now converted to GP Ultimate - plus the three months of Ultimate), taking with it all three of those services. If you wish to renew just
Xbox Live Gold, you can do so after the subscription ends.
